Back in 1989, my late Grandfather handed me the keys to a tired old International 500C dozer he had bought as a gift for me so I could build my own track to practice on and grow as a rider.  My friends and I thought it was the best thing ever and began to cut and shape my first Supercross track.  I learned a lot wrestling with that old girl!  Friends started to come ride the tracks I had built for myself and started asking, "Hey, if I had that thing hauled to my house, would you build me a track?".  The answer was always, "Yes!".  This went on for a while and I really enjoyed it.  Eventually things got busy enough I decided to start designing and building tracks for a living.

In 1999, I started the company TrackMasters MX and went to the local John Deere dealer and traded the old dozer for a brand-new Deere 450H.  It was like a whole new world!  Computer-Controlled and it was SO much more efficient and effective.

Several years in to building tracks, one of my long-time clients asked if they could buy the 450 and just have me come run it when he needed.  That happened and I ordered the 650J that I operate to this day on jobs that are closer to home base.

I've always operated with the mindset that tracks have to flow and fit the land they are built on, jumps don't have to be unforgiving, and a track should suit a wide range of skill levels that anyone can ride on and still enjoy.  The designs I do all consider the site available, drainage, and ease of maintenance down the road.  This saves time and money!

21 years later and 30 years of experience, I still love putting these tracks together.  It's has been and continues to be fun and I have been to so many great places and met great people!
